Best Spam Ever – Part 4

Here’s the continuation of Absurd Delight’s ongoing international campaign to mock, confuse and insignificantly impeded one particularly inept Nigerian/419 Scammer.

To truly appreciate the absurdity here, please read this thread from the beginning when we first received an offer from the United Nations Money Laundering Association in part 1. See their Laundering Application form here. And read the bizarre evolution of the scam and scambaiting in part 2 and part 3.

As before, our favorite parts are in blue. Enjoy!

We are glad to inform you that we have finally completed every arrangement to offer you the loan which you requested for.

However to complete the process, you are requested to fill the attached Loan Application Form and return it to this office along with the fee attached to it.

You are therefore advised to remit the fee Via Western Union Money Transfer using the information of our financial secretary below.

Receiver’s Name: JOEL PETERSON

Text Question: WHAT COLOR?
Answer: BLUE

as soon as you make the payment, kindly forward an attached copy of the Western Union Payment Receipt for withdrawal and also send via e-mail, the MTCN Number along with the name of Sender.
We await your response and urgent compliance.

EDs NOTE: No matter how badly they want a Western Union payment, we don’t see why we can’t just keep mailing them money orders to their official United Nations address, which changes from email to email! Ha!

Do you think its always the same person responding? Or a syndicate on shift work? Because the grammar and level of English seems to fluctuate from day to day.

Bryan,

I don’t understand. I sent a check money order to:

United Nations
Attn: Bryan Clark, UN Lending Unit
165 London Head-Quarters,
Wc2 London VHF 16-21
United Kingdom

Did you not receive it?? I am very worried that it was lost in the mail. Can you please check with your mailroom again?

Jarod

EDs NOTE: They use the phrase “our company’s email contact.” Now, that’s silly as the UN is not a company, and the “official” email they use is never from anything close to any kind of company’s email address.

Dear Jarod L. Bingham;

It is was unfortunate that we did not receive the check money order that you sent because we have made every neccessary search and verifications concerning your last mail but all to no avail.

Please we will like you tell us or send to us the Email ID which you used in sending the filling Form and the money attatched to it because we want verify if it is actually our mail ID you use in sending our form and the MTCN code Number or you made a mistake by using someones email in sending it because up till now we have been waiting for you to send the Form back to us via Email and the Form’s Registration payment fee which we have not receive anything like that up till now.

So we hereby urge you to resend to us the form via our company’s email contact including the comfirmation scanned copy of the MTCN Number to us via our email.

Best regards,

Bryan,

I am quite upset that the money order I previously did not arrive. I wasn’t able to get a refund for the money order so I lost the $800. This was a very expensive mistake. If you find the original money order please send it back to me.

Nonetheless, I am still willing to work with you to get this loan approved. In order to be sure that you receive my application, I requested another money order (this time for $855 because of the exchange rate). Attached I have scanned a copy of the application, the money order and the envelope. As you can see, the letter has been sent by “Express Air Mail” so it should arrive within a few days. Please let me know once you receive it.

Modest regards,
Jarod Bingham
