Jailed Dictator Converts to Christianity AND Judaism

In an extravagant twist on the stock script, this extravagant criminal has turned not to Jesus, but away from him after jailhouse reflection and meditation.

“Former Liberian president who is standing trial at The Hague, Charles Taylor has turned to Judaism for succour.”

Now, lovers of JC, fret not. Because there is hope yet.

His wife Victoria Taylor told BBC Network Africa … that her husband has not renounced Christianity, but only wanted to take on Judaism.

It’s like double decker religion. So modern.

Pray, Explain This Picture

Posted in funny, open letters with tags , , , on April 21, 2009 by absurddelight

So this is a great conceptual pic, right? Now try and guess what it’s for?

Give up?

A prayer website. And a pretty engaging one at that.

Dear God lets anyone, worshiping any God, write in with a pithy (or rambling) letter to God. Then they’ll post the “best” under a seemingly visually striking photograph that allegedly relates to the existential plight in the letter. Really it’s just a cool photo site with yammering words you ignore most of the time. Categories include Sex (funny pic there), Work, Belief, and others, including the category for the pic above, Dreams.

This head shopper is upset about the pointlessness of corporate life or something or other.
